Wayne County Employee Health Clinic Lunch n’ Learn Opportunity

Lunchtime Chair Yoga

Wednesday, August 6th

11am and 12 pm sessions

Both sessions will be held in the Commissioners Meeting room on the top floor of the Administration Building.

(Wednesday is also food truck day, as a reminder, Tommy’s Classic American Food truck will be in the parking lot)

 

We are considering offering lunch chair yoga opportunities, if you can’t make the brown bag but want to let us know you would like more details, email me at wellnessnurse@wayneohio.org, ask to get on the list, and let us know you would be interested in a weekly lunch chair yoga session.

 

There will be an out of pocket cost for future chair yoga sessions. This one will be free on August 6th. Please, come join us for more information and details of classes, that can be offered, in a lunch setting also some education on stress and self-care.

👉 Ready to experience the benefits of chair yoga firsthand? We will be having a Brown Bag Lunch with local Joie Schmitz. Joie Schmitz is a Wooster, Ohio-based yoga, mindfulness and wellness instructor, known for classes that challenge both body and mind. She has an RYT-500 advanced teaching certification through the Yoga Alliance accredited Jivan Yoga Teacher Training Program at Baltimore Yoga Village, and continuing education credits for Yoga for Kids through YoKid, Yoga for Arthritis and Special Populations, Mental Health and Wellness through Yoga Medicine and Functional Anatomy through Yoga Medicine. Joie loves to travel the world practicing and teaching yoga, and finding new ways to share the power of yoga, fitness, mindfulness and wellness with others.
